American post-modernist Jeff Koons has unveiled his latest creation in Paris - the BMW Art Car number 17.
Koons and his minions have been working on the colorful, Pop Art-inspired design for four months.
The BMW M3 GT2 is covered in a vinyl wrap and will race at the Le Mans 24 Hours race in France over next weekend (June 12 -13).
The tradition of creating BMW art cars has been around since the 1970s.
Koons' car is number 17 in a BMW series dating back to 1975 in which famous artists, including Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Ernst Fuchs and David Hockney have painted BMWs for the Le Mans race.
The artist, who will donate his fee to charity, said of the racer: "It is as life, full of power and energy."
